Born and raised in Rockford, IL Matt and his amazing wife Dana currently live in New Berlin, WI. Matt's heart is to live a life that empowers people to become the best version of themselves. Believing that no matter your background, age, color or creed, God can work all things out for your good.  Through encouragement and a bit of helpful nudging, Matt will challenge anyone willing to accept his challenge, to take advantage of every situation they encounter, good or bad and become better because of them.

Matt is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. Matt and Dana currently serve the vision of Pastors Brandon and Amber Liebe at Banner Church. Matt serves as the Youth Pastor, while Dana serves as the Connections Pastor. They have two beautiful daughters, Jordyn and Averi.  With the birth of Averi, they became a part of #theluckyfew family. Matt is a sports enthusiast, enjoys talking all things leadership and, along with his wife, love DIY projects, renovating and flipping homes.
